- Marketing Hub Starter is $15/seat/mo (annual) with 1,000 contacts; Professional jumps to roughly $890/mo with a mandatory $3,000 onboarding fee; Enterprise starts around $3,600/mo plus $7,000 onboarding.
- The real bill is driven by marketing contacts, not seats. Professional includes 2,000 contacts; every additional 5,000 runs about $224/mo. A growing list compounds your cost automatically.
- The Starter-to-Professional cliff is the decision point: roughly $15/seat to $890/mo is the single biggest price jump in mainstream marketing software.

The three tiers, in plain numbers
Starter is $15 per seat per month on annual billing ($20 month-to-month) and includes 1,000 marketing contacts. It covers email marketing, forms, landing pages, and light automation, with HubSpot branding removed. For a small list and simple sends, it is honestly priced.
Professional is where teams land once they need real automation, and where the math changes: roughly $890 per month on annual billing, 3 seats, 2,000 marketing contacts included, plus a mandatory $3,000 onboarding fee in year one. That is about a 60x jump from a single Starter seat.
Enterprise starts around $3,600 per month with 5 seats and 10,000 contacts, an additional $75 per extra seat, and a $7,000 onboarding fee that appears at checkout. Additional contacts price at roughly $1,000 per month per 10,000 on this tier.
The contact tax is the real story
Marketing Hub bills on “marketing contacts”: everyone you actively email or target. Professional includes 2,000; each additional block of 5,000 costs about $224 per month. Grow your list from 2,000 to 25,000 and you have added roughly $1,000 per month before hiring anyone or sending anything. The pricing scales against list growth, which is the exact thing your marketing is supposed to produce.
What to check before you commit
Ask about the onboarding fee up front (it is mandatory on Professional and Enterprise), model your contact growth for 24 months rather than pricing your current list, confirm whether your automation needs actually require Professional, and price the bundle honestly if you also need Sales Hub seats. Where Conduyt fits (and where it does not)
Conduyt is not a marketing automation suite, and if you need HubSpot’s full campaign tooling, Marketing Hub is genuinely strong. But if what you actually need is CRM plus email sequences, campaigns, forms, and automation for a sales-led team, Conduyt includes those at $299 or $499 per month flat, with no per-contact billing at all: 100,000 contacts cost the same as 1,000. Many teams pay for Marketing Hub Professional to get capabilities their CRM should have included. The head-to-head is at Conduyt vs HubSpot.
