Google Calendar and Conduyt
Google Calendar connects to Conduyt with two-way sync. Events on your Google calendar block booking times in Conduyt, appointments booked in Conduyt are written to your Google calendar, and moving or deleting an event in Google Calendar updates the appointment in Conduyt.
What makes it different
Your Google calendar sets your availability
Events on your Google calendar sync into Conduyt, and booking pages only offer times you are free. Events you have marked as free in Google Calendar do not block a slot.
Bookings land on your Google calendar
When an appointment is booked in Conduyt, it is written to the Google calendar of the person it is assigned to, with the title, time, location and description, and the contact added as an attendee. Rescheduling or cancelling in Conduyt updates or removes that event.
Changes in Google Calendar come back
Move a synced appointment in Google Calendar and Conduyt moves the appointment to match. Delete it and Conduyt cancels the appointment, keeps the record, and notes on the contact's timeline that the event was deleted in your calendar.
What you need in place first
What moves, and which way
| Direction | What moves | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar to Conduyt | Events on your primary calendar: title, description, start and end, all-day flag, location, free or busy, and attendees. The first sync starts 30 days back; after that, changes arrive as they happen. | Google Calendar push notifications tell Conduyt when events change. Google does not renew those channels automatically, so Conduyt replaces them on a schedule. |
| Conduyt to Google Calendar | Appointments booked in Conduyt: title, start and end, location, description, and the contact as an attendee. Reschedules update the event and cancellations delete it. | Written to the calendar of the person the appointment is assigned to. |
| Google account to Conduyt | Your Google account email address. | Used to identify which calendar is connected. |
| Conduyt to AI services | Nothing from Google. Information received from Google APIs, including Google Calendar events and your Google account email address, is never sent to any AI service. | Source: Conduyt privacy policy, sections 11 and 12. |

Common questions
Does Conduyt integrate with Google Calendar?
Yes. Each user connects their own Google account, and Conduyt syncs that account's primary calendar both ways: events block booking times in Conduyt, and appointments booked in Conduyt are written to the calendar.
What happens if I move or delete an event in Google Calendar?
Moving the event of a synced appointment reschedules the appointment in Conduyt. Deleting it cancels the appointment, keeps the record, and adds a note to the contact's timeline that the event was deleted in your calendar.
Why does Conduyt say Google did not grant calendar access?
Google's consent screen lets you untick individual permissions. If the Google Calendar permission was unticked, Conduyt does not save the connection. Reconnect and keep the Calendar permission ticked.
Does Conduyt use my Google Calendar data for AI?
No. Conduyt's privacy policy states that information received from Google APIs, including Google Calendar events and your Google account email address, is never sent to any AI service and is never used to train any AI or machine learning model.
Can Conduyt read my Gmail?
No. The Google connection covers Google Calendar only. Capturing client replies from an inbox works with Outlook and Microsoft 365 today.
