• They charge in opposite ways. GoHighLevel bills per account ($97, $297 or $497 a month with unlimited users and contacts) and adds usage for texting, calls, email and AI. HubSpot Sales Hub bills per seat, from a free plan for up to 2 users to $150 per seat on Enterprise, plus a one-time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise.
  • The messaging layer decides the real bill. At 10 users who each send 500 texts and make 500 outbound call minutes a month, GoHighLevel Starter comes to about $229 a month. HubSpot Sales Hub Professional is $1,000 a month in seats, and its 3,000 included calling minutes cover only part of that volume.
  • Both now ship an official MCP server. GoHighLevel runs the LeadConnector MCP server with four tools in front of 550+ operations; HubSpot made its remote MCP server generally available to all accounts on April 13, 2026.

GoHighLevel and HubSpot share shortlists because both promise one login for CRM, automation and outreach, but they serve different buyers. GoHighLevel is an agency operating system that runs each client in its own sub-account. HubSpot Sales Hub is a seat-priced sales CRM that sits inside a larger marketing, service and content platform. Below: the cost at 5, 10 and 50 users with texting and calling included, how their AI agent access differs, and when each is the better pick.

How each one prices

GoHighLevel: a flat platform fee with meters on top

GoHighLevel sells three published plans. Starter is $97 a month with 3 sub-accounts. Unlimited is $297 a month with unlimited sub-accounts, rebilling of phone and email at no markup, and basic API access. Agency Pro is $497 a month and adds SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup and advanced API access. Annual billing is ten times the monthly price. Every plan includes unlimited contacts and users, month to month.

The platform fee is the floor, not the bill. GoHighLevel marks Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI, email and SMS marketing, and inbound and outbound calling as usage based. Its LC Phone guide lists a US local number at $1.15 a month, outbound SMS at $0.00747 per segment before carrier fees, and outbound calls at $0.0166 a minute, billed in full minutes. Email is $0.675 per 1,000. Optional add-ons include the AI Employee at $50 or $97 a month per sub-account. Our GoHighLevel pricing breakdown covers each line.

HubSpot: seats, tiers and onboarding

HubSpot Sales Hub is free for up to 2 users. Paid tiers are priced per seat. The pricing page shows Starter at $7 or $20 per seat a month and Professional at $90 or $100, depending on the billing option you pick, and Enterprise from $150. HubSpot’s Products and Services Catalog lists the Starter Core Seat at $20 a month, the Professional Sales Seat at $100 and the Enterprise Sales Seat at $150. Full Professional or Enterprise sales functionality requires a Sales Seat, so each rep who needs those tools is a paid seat. Professional also carries a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500, and Enterprise one of $3,500.

Calling is bundled as included minutes per account rather than metered from the first minute: 500 on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 12,000 on Enterprise, with 1, up to 3 or up to 5 HubSpot-provided phone numbers. The Sales Hub pricing page does not say what happens past those minutes and has no row for SMS. For the full seat math, see what HubSpot actually costs.

What each costs at 5, 10 and 50 users, with texting and calling

Seat prices hide the part of the bill that grows with activity, so this table adds a messaging layer: each user sends 500 SMS segments and makes 500 outbound call minutes a month on one local number. GoHighLevel usage is priced from its published LC Phone rates. HubSpot is shown at its catalog seat prices with the included minutes stated against the minutes that volume needs.

Team size GoHighLevel Starter + usage HubSpot Sales Hub Starter HubSpot Sales Hub Professional Conduyt
5 users $97 + $65.93 usage = $162.93/mo $100/mo; needs 2,500 minutes, includes 500 $500/mo + $1,500 once; needs 2,500 minutes, includes 3,000 $299 or $499/mo + your own carrier bill
10 users $97 + $131.85 usage = $228.85/mo $200/mo; needs 5,000 minutes, includes 500 $1,000/mo + $1,500 once; needs 5,000 minutes, includes 3,000 $299 or $499/mo + your own carrier bill
50 users $97 + $659.25 usage = $756.25/mo $1,000/mo; needs 25,000 minutes, includes 500 $5,000/mo + $1,500 once; needs 25,000 minutes, includes 3,000 $299 or $499/mo + your own carrier bill
Monthly list prices checked Oct 26, 2026. GoHighLevel usage per user: 500 SMS segments at $0.00747, 500 outbound minutes at $0.0166 and one $1.15 local number, before carrier fees. HubSpot seat prices from its product catalog; the pricing page shows lower per-seat prices on one billing option. HubSpot does not publish a per-minute rate past included minutes on its Sales Hub pricing page.

Three things stand out. GoHighLevel stays under $800 a month even at 50 users in this scenario, because users are free and US carrier rates are low. HubSpot Starter is cheap in seats but its 500 included minutes run out at the first user who calls all day. And HubSpot Professional is where the seat math bites: 10 reps cost $1,000 a month before the first extra minute, and 50 cost $5,000.

The GoHighLevel column is its cheapest plan with texting and calling only. A sales team that also wants API access, the AI Employee and premium support moves to Agency Pro with add-ons, which comes to $1,094 a month before usage. Our GoHighLevel comparison breaks that bill down line by line.

Heavy AI use or the Unlimited plan raise GoHighLevel’s side; HubSpot’s other billing option or a team that rarely calls lowers HubSpot’s. For reference, Twilio’s own US list is $0.0083 per SMS segment and $0.0140 a minute for outbound local calls, and HighLevel says LC Phone is priced at Twilio rates with a 10% discount on those lines.

AI agent access: the two MCP servers side by side

If an AI assistant will read and act on your CRM records, both vendors now run a first-party Model Context Protocol server, packaged differently.

GoHighLevel’s design suits an agency wanting one connection across client sub-accounts; HubSpot’s ties what the agent can do to each user’s permissions. The deeper write-ups are does GoHighLevel have an MCP server and the HubSpot MCP server explained.

When HubSpot is the better pick, and when GoHighLevel is

Pick HubSpot when

  • Marketing drives your pipeline. HubSpot sells Sales Hub as one part of a platform with its Marketing, Service, Content, Data and Revenue Hubs, so a B2B team can grow into inbound marketing and service on the same CRM.
  • You have one or two users. The free plan covers up to 2 users, and GoHighLevel has no free plan, only a 14-day trial.
  • Your reps email more than they text. Professional includes sequences and up to 300 workflows, and calling minutes are bundled, so a low-volume calling team never sees a meter.
  • Governance matters. HubSpot’s MCP server inherits user permissions; Enterprise adds 1,000 workflows.

Pick GoHighLevel when

  • You are an agency running client accounts. Sub-accounts, snapshots and SaaS Mode on Agency Pro were built for this. HubSpot is not an agency sub-account product.
  • Texting and calling are the daily work. Numbers, SMS and calls are priced at carrier-level rates with no per-seat charge, which is why the 20 and 50 user rows above stay low.
  • Headcount is growing. Adding a user costs nothing; on HubSpot every seat is a line item.
  • You also need funnels, sites, calendars and reviews. All are listed as core features on every GoHighLevel plan.

The trade-off: GoHighLevel’s bill moves with usage and AI add-ons; HubSpot’s moves with seats and tier upgrades.

Where Conduyt fits

Some teams comparing these two are neither an agency nor a marketing department: they are a sales team working leads by phone and text. Conduyt is a CRM priced flat at $299 a month on Starter or $499 a month on Professional, with unlimited users and unlimited contacts on both, so 5, 10 or 50 users cost the same. Texting and calling run on your own Twilio or Project Blue line, so your carrier bills that usage directly. The power dialer is on Professional, Starter allows 20 active automations and Professional allows unlimited, and both plans include the API and an MCP server. It does not replace GoHighLevel’s agency tooling or HubSpot’s marketing suite. There is a 20-day free trial, the details are on Conduyt pricing, and the background is in what a flat-rate CRM is. The one-on-one comparisons are Conduyt vs GoHighLevel and Conduyt vs HubSpot.

Frequently asked questions

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than HubSpot?

Usually, once a team has more than a few users. GoHighLevel Starter is $97 a month with unlimited users, plus usage for texts, calls and email. HubSpot Sales Hub Professional lists at $100 per seat a month in its product catalog, plus a $1,500 one-time onboarding fee. At 10 users who each send 500 texts and make 500 outbound call minutes a month, GoHighLevel Starter comes to about $229 a month and HubSpot Professional seats alone come to $1,000.

Do GoHighLevel and HubSpot charge per user?

GoHighLevel does not. Every plan includes unlimited users and unlimited contacts, and costs grow through usage, add-ons and sub-accounts. HubSpot Sales Hub does. It is free for up to 2 users, then paid tiers are priced per seat, from the Starter Core Seat at $20 a month to the Enterprise Sales Seat at $150 a month in its product catalog.

Can HubSpot replace GoHighLevel for an agency?

Not directly. GoHighLevel is built around client sub-accounts, with 3 on Starter, unlimited from the $297 Unlimited plan, and SaaS Mode resale on the $497 Agency Pro plan. HubSpot Sales Hub is a seat-priced CRM for one company and has no equivalent sub-account resale structure. Agencies that pick HubSpot usually do so for their own sales and marketing, not to host clients.

Which is better for texting and calling, GoHighLevel or HubSpot?

GoHighLevel, for high-volume texting and calling. It sells numbers at $1.15 a month, SMS at $0.00747 per segment plus carrier fees and outbound calls at $0.0166 a minute, with no per-seat charge. HubSpot Sales Hub bundles 500, 3,000 or 12,000 calling minutes per account by tier and lists no SMS row on its Sales Hub pricing page.

Do GoHighLevel and HubSpot have MCP servers?

Yes, both. GoHighLevel documents the LeadConnector MCP server, which uses OAuth and exposes four tools in front of more than 550 operations across 38 domains. HubSpot made its remote MCP server at mcp.hubspot.com generally available to all accounts on April 13, 2026, using OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and respecting each user’s permissions.

Is there a flat-rate alternative to GoHighLevel and HubSpot?

Yes. Conduyt is a CRM priced flat at $299 a month on Starter or $499 a month on Professional, with unlimited users and contacts. Texting and calling run on your own Twilio or Project Blue line, and every account starts with a 20-day free trial.
